Oasis ENT Gives Back: Supporting Feed My Starving Children in Arizona

At Oasis ENT, being part of the Arizona community means more than providing care in the clinic—it means showing up, staying involved, and contributing in ways that extend beyond patient visits.

Earlier this spring, members of the Oasis ENT team participated in a Feed My Starving Children volunteer event in Arizona. As an Arizona volunteer medical group, the experience was an opportunity to step outside the clinical setting and take part in something hands-on, meaningful, and shared.

A group of people

One Hour. Real Impact.

The event itself was simple in structure—teams worked together to pack meal kits that will be distributed to children facing food insecurity around the world. But what stood out was how much could be accomplished in such a short time.

In just one hour, the room filled with energy, coordination, and a clear sense of purpose. Stations moved quickly, conversations flowed, and every packed box represented a small but meaningful contribution to a much larger effort.

As Matt Ghanem, CEO of National Breathe Free, shared:

“What stood out to me wasn’t just the impact—it was how quickly it happened. In one hour, our team made a real difference. That says a lot about what’s possible when good people come together with the right intention.”

For many involved, it was a reminder that impact doesn’t always require a large-scale initiative—sometimes it starts with showing up and working side by side.

More Than a Team—A Shared Experience

While Oasis ENT team members collaborate every day in clinical environments, this setting offered something different. Without schedules, appointments, or roles defining the moment, the focus shifted entirely to teamwork and connection.

There was a noticeable sense of momentum throughout the event—focused, but also energizing. People moved efficiently, supported one another, and stayed engaged from start to finish.

Orlando Vargas, Regional Operations Director, reflected on the experience:

“Our teams care deeply about the patients we serve every day, and this is just an extension of that. Being able to step outside the clinic and give back together—it brings a different kind of energy and connection.”

Why Community Involvement Matters

For Oasis ENT, community involvement is a natural extension of patient care. Trust is built not only through clinical expertise, but through consistency, presence, and shared values.

Participating in events like Feed My Starving Children reinforces that connection. It allows our team to contribute beyond the clinic while staying grounded in the communities we serve across Arizona.

As an organization focused on both care and community, Oasis ENT community involvement reflects a broader commitment—one that continues outside exam rooms and into everyday impact.

Looking Ahead

This event marks one of many steps toward strengthening community engagement across Oasis ENT locations. As the team continues to grow, so does the commitment to participating in initiatives that bring people together and support meaningful causes.
